Objectively, what is the actual incentive for the CBJ trade? Because on the surface it's two NHL players for two older, worse, not-NHL players.

I think the incentive is "we're a Canadian team so we deserve good players and you don't." Or "I'm also a Penguins fan so screw the Jackets."

I wouldn't call a prospect that scores at below 0.5 ppg in the ahl a unicorn prospect
