Not even close. Wilson is probably truly worth a first and a top prospect but he’s not for sale and it will take a crazy overpay to send him. Add in trading him to a rival it’s gonna be a lot more

He's not that big of a player, he's good no doubt, and obviously a huge pain to play against, but you're saying he's worth more than a top six winger a 1st and a 3rd??? rofl. Rags sent a 1st, 4th Blais (19 career goals) and random AHL player for Tarasenko and Mikkola... and any person with half a brain is taking Tarasenko over Wilson 12 times out of 10.

Yes he's worth more than that, no other player is like him in the entirety of the NHL...if he ever went on the market, most of the other teams will all be bidding on him and that would bump his price up significantly.

Pens pass. They give up the better player AND you added a 1st…good one.

I get the rivals part, and fully agree on that - but acting like this isn't near enough for Wilson from a value perspective is a bit nutty.

I dunno, an unprotected Pittsburgh '25 first is a mighty tempting offer. They're already trending down, and that's two years from now.
