Oh ok glad you’re able to decide for Kent what he wants. Glad a rebuilding team is moving a young player and a first for a second line winger and a 34 year old goalie. You make a lot of sense!!

Kent doesn’t want out. He literally never said a word about being demoted. And if we were to move him it wouldn’t be for this package.

That final trade is wild. Those players do not make up that difference at all.
The other trades are a maybe depending if those teams think their guy will fall to them.

Does anyone find it strange hossa was allergic to his equipment until his contract expired then played in a retirement game the month after that summer??
Edit genuinely asking, never heard much after that but remember seeing him taking part and wondering how.
You can find an excuse. I’m sure most older nhl players need some sort of surgery.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Viqsi</b></div><div>Maybe if Nylander was a franchise player I'd agree. As is I'm not all that convinced. He had one hell of a season, and sure I'd love to add him, but he's 28 - don't expect him to be putting up more 90+ point seasons going forward. The retention makes that a lot more palatable, but even then we're creating a severe leadership vacuum here such that I'm not sure we'd even get anything out of those years of his. So I don't really see it as a no-brainer myself.</div></div>
Fair take. Just see having a top line winger at under 6 as an win. Jenner could drop off any day tbh.
Werenski vs nylander is hard in a vacuum. But at term and money (in this prop) I would lean nylander. Especially with how many injury issues werenski has had. Even if they are freak, it still scares me.

I would offer Kent Johnson. He can’t play until like January but it may be a quality for quality swap.

Jackets say no. Not worth it for us to move him for a late first. It would take 2 late firsts and another add at this point tbh.

Unpopular cbj opinion. I love Jenner and werenski is the pseudo face of the franchise but Nylander at sub 6 for 8 years. Yeah we take that deal lol.
Edit : wild offer for Toronto to make

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Viqsi</b></div><div>"Not the greatest hockey trade for CBJ, but it does free up a lot of money on their cap."
As that is not a priority for the Jackets, the motivation to do this is nonexistent.</div></div>
I will say that A getting a first round pick back and B dumping Elvis is a pretty good incentive.
I love laine but I worry that if he doesn’t bounce back we are gonna get nothing out of him value wise that will help the long term of this team.

Clown takes. You play nhl 24 and don’t watch blue jacket games which I wouldn’t blame you. Cbj games can suck to watch but sillinger is a great player and provides decent offensive chances and puts up stops defensively. Just a dumb take to say otherwise. Bro can’t drink in the states yet and you’re writing him off as a b6 forward.

Love how he said add a player with middle six upside and a first and you add a third. With respect, get a clue. We want the equivalent of 3 firsts for Jenner. Or a really good prospect and late first. As he said. This offer doesn’t come close.

Would agree with Thomas. Don’t know what d prospect you would ask for. Jiricek can’t happen. Unless it’s only him and small adds. (Like a second or cuelemans) Didn’t think he would be available hence that sentence. We need a top right shot defender more than anny other position (assuming Fantilli doesn’t bust out lol) and he is him as far as our process is concerned.
