Laine's salary is a killer. If Columbus eats half, I'd entertain dumping a few picks to them. They're not going to want to take our trash on though.

JJ signing works. He's a guy that will be 7th d without complaining if Mateychuk is ready and he can fill in for 3LD if he isn't.

I'd rather they retain 50% of Laine and go get a player of value for the future.
