KK's not a dump. You'd have to pay to get him

Feel like unless the canes can get some value at all in a KK trade, they’ll just buy him out. The penalty never goes above 835K.

Columbus rather just buy out Elvis. We are not in a cap crunch

That would be an awful move by Waddell, no way should that be considered by Columbus.

Way too much to move Kampf, don't see Smith as a cap dump either.

I concur with some if these other posts. Not that KK has positive value...he doesn't, but it doesn't make sense for them to dump him just yet. They have 2 more years until his buyout jumps to 2/3 vs 1/3.

With the exception of Campbell, these seems to be a bit rich imo too. As a Hawks fan, of course I want to maximize the assets coming, but a 1st and 2nd for Anders? Seems like too much.

I am curious about Lehner. With his money issues he probably is trying to make a come back. Which is a huge problem for the LVK. That's one to keep an eye on for sure.

Isles aren’t trading Lee unless they only need to send a 2nd. He’s still a decent player and our captain who Lou doesn’t want to trade in the first place so we’d just keep him.

For twelve year, is Dundon have that kind of money to throw away?

Waddell seems set on keeping Elvis. So CBJ reject.

Habs aren't in cap trouble and likely just wait out Gallagher and Anderson

He 100% is as of now, but doubt the Canes move him. Nobody is going to want a close to $5M cap hit for him...huge gamble that he improves enough to pay off

He's not a dump. He's 23 years old and had INCREDIBLE underlying numbers offensively this year, he was brutally unlucky, not bad. You're right the canes won't move him, but wrong calling him a dump

Sounds like Elvis is getting another year; but, even then - CBJ can handle his buy-out no problem.

Re; Lee ”might take more”, LOL! The recent King Clancy Award winner and a captain with great underlying numbers even though his production declined, he was the number one must unlucky player regarding xg. A 1st, 2nd and might even more? Please just stop.

Incredible is a stretch lol. He’s a bottom 6 forward who was terrible defensively this season. If he was at 2.5 mill AAV he’d have value, not when he’s being paid close to 5 mill.

He had a down defensive year, but look at any other season from his career. It's never the case for him. He's not a dump

There isn’t a team in the league that is giving up assets for a bottom 6 forward making 4.8 mill for the next 6 years
