This just feels like a ****tier version of the old “I’m just asking questions” argument as a means to avoid having to address the underlying issue. Here - that as much as Habs fans (or I guess, Habs beat-writers) want these trades to happen, they absolutely will not, and to sell ads and brain-space on the idea they could happen is disingenuous.

The frustration mostly is that this is not just a universally bad trade, but one we’ve been telling you to stop making for awhile now.
