Not a fan of any of these outside of the Kings trade.

The avs trade we could get away with sending back a 4th but they don't need a center with what they did at the deadline this year.

The Jackets Trade is not what we need right now. Focus on getting younger not older and more expensive.

The Leafs trade is bad for us as we are then relying on Bear and Iorio to be full-time nhlers, when Bear looked bad this year and Iorio is not quite ready for the NHL.

Bryson is not a good target for us, should look at younger top 4 options instead.

Can’t see why the Leafs would trade Robertson now; still room to improve, but he’s finally starting to live up to his promise . If nothing else, he’s shown he can score at the nhl level - 16th in 5v5 goals per 60 is pretty impressive

Are we still doing this ”Dowd for a first” thing? Yeah, yeah. Technically COL is trading down here. However, to the point here. I can’t see the Avs use their first this year to go and get a 33 year old 4C (is he even a fit with Avs pace, there is big question mark there) in the off-season. The Avalanche declines and asks for Lappiere. Just kidding.

You've given very little cap to CBJ and lots of picks just to acquire 9.75m Gaudreau.
Surely the Caps could spend 9m on a UFA and keep all those young assets.

I dissent. We've been telling the Pittsburgh guys, and now I think we should tell the Caps faithful, that with our cap situation, we need all of the young minimum-contract NHL-quality guys we have and we won't be trading one of them for picks. Kaliyev for Charlie Lindgren is an okay idea, but not this one. We need players, not picks.

That Gaudreau deal is the exact opposite of what the Jackets need. We've already got plenty of quantity.
