neither Detroit would be willing to trade. But still think Husso could be of real interest with Pesce involved or not

Saros would be the move I'd love, but probably for cheaper + an extension. Need a consistent guy that can post over a .900% and Husso hasn't really done that for us. Would be smart to take advantage of Carolina and get him and Tanev, plus still do a Chairot cap dump.

I mean I understand, to a degree. Saros would be perfect to kind of help introduce Cossa into the NHL in 2025/26 plus will provide more consistency in goal. Pesce doesn't need to be the guy they get, they just need to get rid of Chiarot and get themselves a RHD that isn't terrible, probably Christopher Tanev would work better tbh for just price.

Still a B class D prospect Viro? But we have an excessive amount of left shot dmen and have to move someone. Spare 4th and 7th don't mean much though, neither does Ned who could be of interest if they wanna use Ullmark more

I think it's safe to assume he's put Detroit on the list, Michigan boy and grew up a Wings fan. Maybe the second gets downgraded to a 3rd depending on the competition for him

Sens want all those 3 assets, young forward a first this year and a 2nd this year aswell. Likely if you want a guy who can score 40 that's the cost

Depending on how far Cossa is in reality from the NHL, Swayman is 24 years old rn and can easily split the season with Husso, which we really need considering Jarry wants 5-6 years ig for a 29 year old. I'm assuming Cossa is 2-4 years away

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LivingAnew</b></div><div>I believe the Hawks decline. That's a hefty 3-yrs of a contract to take on. Plus, the Hawks wouldn't be moving up 16 combined slots for the picks, as their TBL picks are #19 and #51 (not #21 and #53, as you had in your calculation.) Sorry...</div></div>
Calculations are my fault, replace Lightning pick with Rangers pick to start off with, and could also throw in that 3rd rounder Detroit would get from the Flyers (Rangers pick) might be quantity instead of quality at that point though

PHI definitely needs to add more quantity to the pool and it is a great way to do that. I think at 9, things may still work out how they want or they can move down to 11-12 if it doesn’t</div></div>
Philly has no 2nd round picks in this years or next years, I think trading the 17th and 9th is an overpayment, but trading 2 of 3 thirds I am more comfortable with

Obviously depends on Montreal, they'll take either Reinbacher or Benson. Arizona takes Smith at 6th, and also Mitchkov goes 4th. We all can agree Montreal drafts need over best player (look at kotkenami and slaf) But I also do think Philly maybe goes D wherever they pick.

Cap space and activating Murray is why I'm thinking it since it gives them more breathing room especially if someone doesn't get claimed and face a buried penalty

Would of thought We'd maybe be in on Chycrun, obviously not the case. Thinking the return from the Canucks who are rebuilding was a rather good one and hard to pass on. But see a spare second or two being moved for a new RD. Edvinsson think would be their partner next season too.

He signed Larkin quickly after slow playing it all season then has started to dismantle everything he had to put the rebuild down the road. You don't trade pieces like Hronek if you're looking to compete now. We're going to see him move everything not nailed down now and it's back to signing vets to two year deals to plug holes as we use all those picks. We punted on a great draft class to try to compete and now we're gonna pay for it.</div></div>
Would love to see Detroit get another 1st rounder this year but don't see anyone getting one for them unless it's a packaged deal with another player that gets it to be a first. This years draft class is a big W

Would say if they can send a decent return for Sunny's value then it would make them better. Just someone in some kind of roster spot must go the other way in return that would most likely stay in Detroit for a couple months.

Ned wouldn't fetch any interest (except maybe Chicago if they want to offer like a 5th). Suter is one of the best PKers in the league and is a great depth player. Zadina has phenomenal underlying numbers and passes the eye test nearly every time he's on the ice.</div></div>
judging the fact that it sounds as it's a possibility Zadina gets traded I'd wouldn't be surprised. Suter holds value through his PK skills this year. Ned is just an interesting scenario, he's 100% better than Hellberg and should be in the NHL for us, would've been for him playing 2 of the last 3 games before the deadline to up value.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JoeROFLCOPTER</b></div><div>One that smells bad</div></div>
Not all these trades would obviously happen, Suter trade depends on Rass health situation as he currently is on IR and is listed week to week but I'd say it is probably one of the more unlikely ones that could occur. Don't see them keeping Ned, like Vrana situation where I'd say they miss treated them but they won't leave for next to nothing. Bertuzzi will also go 100%, extension is not close at all and talks have stopped entirely. Sunny just not seeing him being here next season, especially with a better player with roughly the same build in the AHL (Soderblom) just get something for him. Holland I will guess does overpay for Zadina, Yamamoto having better season with almost double amount of games played but Zadina in bottom six when he plays. Also one year age difference maybe 1 for 1 there, but see Holland being interested in Perron too and could overpay there too. Oestrle also don't see being around after this season with changes in defense, Lindstrom is also still 24 and could be a good career bottom pairing defensemen and would want him to play more.

For Bertuzzi and injuries it is an actual fact the injuries he has had, and the production point wise when he has played is 14 in 29 games, injuries have had an affect on him for sure but he just hasn't been the same as last season. He finally showed the physicality last game with his "fight" which was more of a wrestling match with a couple fights.

Think the WIngs will send a pick of some kind back, maybe not a second if Robertson is coming with the return, maybe a spare 4th or later pick? But no matter the deal Bertuzzi is in, salary must be retained not a question. If the Wings are to go get a better prospect then maybe the second.

Like mentioned as a reply to another, might not be Nosek coming back but I'd say the Bruins could be the team to get the best out of him, the physical edge with his size he needs for the big body he has.
