Utah is a Playoff Team
Seattle's not going to go for that. Contrary to what you stated in the description, McCann isn't expendable. He's held down top-six center roles for the Kraken, but is just as comfortable on the wing, so he can easily move there. In fact, McCann was primarily a winger last year when Seattle made their playoff run. He's also the Kraken's best goalscorer, and Seattle's a team that needs to add scoring, not subtract it. Trading McCann would be counterproductive for the Kraken, and I don't see him going anywhere anytime soon.

Considering how well Tolvanen has fit in Seattle, and how he is young enough to still be a prime-age contributor by the time Beniers, Wright, and other prospects come into their own, I think the Kraken would just hang onto him instead of dealing him for a draft pick.

Michkov time
Johansen's career is over due to injury. Neither the Kraken nor any other team are going to pay anything, not even a 7th, for him. The Flyers will likely just place him on IR/LTIR until his contract expires next offseason.

Fixing the Leafs and trading core pieces
Dunn is a big reason why Seattle's defense is so good. To me this trade would be filling one hole while creating another. Seattle does need scoring, but there will be avenues for them to do that this offseason that don't involve trading their best defenseman, and I think they will pursue those options rather than making a deal like this.
Another thing to keep in mind is that Marner, for as good as he is, is a rental until proven otherwise in a trade. Dunn by contrast has three years left on his contract. I can't really see the Kraken being all that willing to give up a core piece of their roster along with a high first round pick for someone who might only be around for a year when such a trade on its own likely isn't enough to make them an elite cup contender.

DRAFT IGINLA PLUS TRADE UP FOR SENNECKE
According to multiple draft pick value charts, the difference in value between the 8th overall pick and the 24th overall pick is equivalent to a late first rounder. I highly doubt Harris has that sort of trade value right now. Even if he did, the Kraken have a full blue line at the moment and will likely want to keep a starting spot open for Ryker Evans to continue his development, so I can't see them being all that interested in Harris. The Kraken are better served sticking at 8 and adding another top prospect to their pipeline than moving down 16 spots just to add a defenseman they don't really ned.

Playoff bound
I believe Seattle would decline that trade. Daccord's been a real find for the Kraken and finally provided them with some stability in net. I doubt the Kraken are going to be all that willing to swap him and his bargain deal for another pricey goalie who hasn't lived up to his contract with Grubauer still around.

Next Year
I think Seattle will just stick with the young defenseman they already have. Evans is poised to have a full-time role in the NHL next year and the Kraken power play looked more lively when he was running it this season. He had strong possession metrics and didn't look too shabby especially when paired with a defensive blueliner like Larsson or Dumoulin. Personally I think Evans' ceiling is higher than Jones' at this point, which better fits what the Kraken need.

The only realistic moves that make an impact
Seattle has spent the past two seasons developing Wright and preparing for him to take his place in the Kraken's center corps. They aren't going to be trading him anytime soon, and certainly not for that package. A bulk offer of three bottom six/AHL players, three interesting but significantly lower rated prospects, and a third round pick three drafts away for a top center prospect isn't going to be enticing. This is a case where quantity does not equal quality.

Categorizing Each Teams 1C Post 23-24
I'd say Beniers should be in the Too Early to Tell category. He's only played two full seasons in the NHL and it'll be a few more before he reaches his peak. For that matter, Bedard probably belongs in the Too Early to Tell category as well; for all the hype surrounding him he's still a rookie and it'll take a few years before we can see how he truly stacks up against the other 1Cs of the league.

Seattle would decline that trade. They need Borgen more than Mangiapane. For all of Seattle's scoring woes, they actually have a plethora of capable middle six wingers; it's the top end scoring that they're lacking. Adding another guy in that middle-six mold in Mangiapane isn't worth losing a key piece of their defense in Borgen.

Seattle Rebuild Begins
Everything Seattle has been doing since their inception as a franchise has been part of their multi-year building process, with their true peak still yet to come. They're not about to backpedal and reset that whole timeline. With that in mind, I have a hard time seeing the Kraken trade one of their leading scorers to a division rival when they are in need of more scoring, not less.

Seattle
Honestly I don't see how this trade makes sense for either side. Florida's right in the middle of their cup window, and Ekblad's a crucial piece of that, so I don't know why they'd consider moving him. Seattle's competitive timeline is farther out in the future, so trading for a rental defenseman doesn't really add up for them either. Not to mention, the Kraken have a good defensive group already but have a need for more scoring up front. Trading one of their top scorers for a blueliner, even one as good as Ekblad, would be counterproductive.

Seattle Kraken signed Lukas Dragicevic (3 Years / $950,000 AAV)
Back when he was drafted, I thought Dragicevic was the steal of the Kraken draft given they landed him at a spot well below his projected draft position. RHD is a position where the Kraken prospect pool is lacking in depth so I'm glad to see him under contract. Hopefully Seattle's other 2023 draftees follow suit soon.

McCann is worth way more than that, and it makes zero sense for Seattle to trade their leading scorer when the story of their season has been struggling to put the puck in the net. The Kraken decline rather quickly.

A Long Soo Summer In Pittsburgh
For as illustrious a career as Malkin has had, I don't think he's worth nearly that much at this point. McCann is scoring at a higher pace than him this season. It makes no sense for the Kraken to give up all those valuable assets when it's debatable whether swapping those two would even represent a near term upgrade, and certainly wouldn't be a long term one for Seattle.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>sens65</b></div><div>Agreed, but he also takes up a big chunk of cap so they might want to trade him and use the space on someone else that utilizes the cap space better.</div></div>
I suppose it's a possibility, but Seattle is going to have over $10M in cap space next year even after factoring in new deals for Beniers and Tolvanen. That's plenty of room to make a splash signing should they so choose. Additionally, their NHL center depth actually isn't the greatest right now, so trading Gourde would open up a new hole that they'd have to spend money filling. With Gourde still contributing in ways other than point production, I think the Kraken will be inclined to keep him around for next season. If they really needed to open up cap space, there are several more palatable alternatives.

Gourde is having a down season, but it's important to keep in mind that Seattle is still gunning for the playoffs both this season and next. In that context, Gourde is worth more to them than a handful of futures that are dart throws at best.

Seattle's not going to have any interest in that swap. Tolvanen's pretty clearly the superior forward to Veleno and has fit like a glove in Seattle since arriving here. I doubt the Kraken are going to be all that willing to trade him anytime soon.

(SEA/NYR) - Wennberg for 2024 2nd (NYR), 2025 4th (DAL)
Early in the season, I thought Wennberg might be able to fetch a second round pick should Seattle decide to sell him. Then the Lindholm and Monahan trades seemed to set the bar high for rental centers, so I believed the price point for Wennberg increased to a conditional second that could become a first. Turns out his actual trade value fell somewhere in the middle. I thought he could have gotten more, but the market seemed to shift in buyers' favor as the deadline approached and Wennberg's relative dearth of scoring may have depressed his trade value. I suppose second and fourth round picks isn't a bad return for Wennberg all things considered, and Seattle has McCann (with Wright waiting in the wings) to step in and replace him at 2C.
Wennberg's a player who doesn't light up the scoresheet and was probably overmatched as a 2C, but he contributes in many other facets with his playmaking, netfront play, and defensive ability. He can contribute on both the power play and penalty kill. He'll be a nice 3C for the Rangers, though he won't be the answer in their search for scoring help.

Seattle Kraken signed Jordan Eberle (2 Years / $4,750,000 AAV)
Eberle has been a fixture for the Kraken franchise since its inception, and sentimentally at least it's nice to see him continue his tenure with the team. His value to them extends beyond the scoresheet thanks to his locker room presence and on-ice chemistry with Beniers. I think a two year deal at a slightly lower AAV than his current contract suits the Kraken quite well, as he can serve as a bridge from the present to when some of their young forward prospects are ready to make the leap.

curious what is the price
I think a good trade comp would be the Klingberg trade to Minnesota last year, when he was dealt for a late round dart throw prospect and a 2025 4th round pick, 3 years out from the trade. Schultz is cheaper and has been more effective than Klingberg, but is a similar type of player, so I would say a 2026 3rd round pick plus a dart throw prospect/late round pick would be a fair price.

Jake McCabe type trade
I don't think the McCabe trade is a great template for putting together an offer for Larsson, since McCabe is a more similar to Borgen as a player and Larsson is a clear step above that. I put together my own ACGM the other day where I laid out whether the Kraken will even consider trading Larsson or not and what I think a reasonable comp and hypothetical offer would be, if you want to go check it out: https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/4932594

any Kraken fans know what your selling
It's hard to get a gauge on what Seattle is planning to do this deadline since they're still hanging around the playoff bubble. There probably won't be a decision on whether Seattle is gunning for the playoffs or selling until close to the deadline.
If Seattle ends up deciding to sell, I believe it will be a soft sell, where veteran rentals get shipped out, while key contributors with term stay put to reload for next year. With that in mind, I think only Eberle would be on the trade block from your list, but players like Wennberg, Schultz, Yamamoto, Bellemare, and Driedger would also be available. Personally I wouldn't mind trading Tanev if the offer was right, but the Kraken seem to value having him around.

(ANA/CAR/TOR) - Lyubushkin for Slepets for 2025 3rd (TOR), 2024 6th (TOR)
Seems like a pretty even trade all around from my point of view.
Anaheim originally paid a 2025 4th rounder to get Lyubushkin. After half a season and retaining half his cap hit they recoup a 2025 third rounder. Solid bit of business for a team still deep in the rebuilding phase.
Carolina weren't going to be using their retention spots since they're contenders and had the cap space to spare, so why not buy a late draft pick for retaining a few hundred thousand?
There's some familiarity with Lyubushkin and the Leafs, and he helps fill their need for defensively minded RHD. He's more of a bottom pairing guy but should help balance out their blue line. Hopefully this helps thin out the wave of mock trades involving the Leafs trying to add Seattle's decidedly less available right handed defensemen, Larsson and Borgen. Lyubushkin isn't close to the caliber of player they are but he was acquired to fill a somewhat similar role.
