Alittle late on the ullmark trade. Plus it looks like he didn’t hold as much value as we all thought. Which isn’t super shocking as goalies tend to not have much value.

Also I want nothing to do with marner. He doesn’t waive to come here or extend here. We don’t need another pass first forward making 9.75 plus.

Hawks would pay that for Laine without retention. CBJ definitely gets a better return if they retain.

Honestly, in hindsight, This would have been a big over pay. The Jackets have no reason to trade their captain and Sillinger is a big part of their future. also yes I know I poke to poke a lot on this site too.

No retention on Laine is necessary. Hawks don't need cap space in the next two years.
