Not a chance the sharks even think about that. Bords is young & part of our future. The canes have to give up extra assets to get off of those contracts. + the coke's not as good in SJ, Kuzy would hate it.

Might not make sense for them but Nikishin isn’t available for anyone except McDavid

Canes didn’t have him available for Meier or Guentzel or even Pettersson

Necas is a budding star. If he pans out into that, point per game+ player, he’s absolutely worth this. The hardest position to find in hockey is a right shot franchise forward, and Necas can be that. In my eyes, Dahlin is worth giving up for that opportunity

Every team needs veteran leaders, SJS doesn’t have any. Granlund isn’t a vocal guy, so I thought it would behoove them to go out and get some guys. Kuz is on a really good contract - his playoff performance shows that - and KK can easily turn into a top 6, defensively responsible C

On top of all the other insanity everyone has mentioned, Bordeleau as a 2C for a team with contender aspirations is wildly optimistic. Bordeleau is tracking as bottom six scoring winger with middle six upside and AAAA downside.

Also this Sharks fan sees absolutely no value in Kuz for the Sharks. He is neither reliable on the ice nor as a locker room leader. No thanks.
