Small moves not worth the click
I can’t stress how much I, and Nashville fans everywhere, are grateful that you let us have Bruno. He’s awesome

not expecting much this offseason
Yeah, I’m down. Would be nice to add a potential 2C - ROR, Rossi, Novak isn’t too bad

An 8x12 photo of the Giroux goal to complete the comeback against the Preds from earlier this season. We could even get Juuse to sign it. Excellent wall art for Staios’ office

Could the Sens do us a solid and just take Luke Schenn? It would be very nice of them

A road map for the Sens
That package is horrible for Saros alone - and even worse when you realize Lauzon is part of the package. Saros runs you a 1st+ and I don’t think Lauzon is for sale at all

Options
Confused on how Parssinen is a buy low candidate - not uncommon for young players to have to go back to the AHL. What is uncommon though is a 7th round pick doing this well at his age doing this well. Preds have no reason to move on from him
The other two guys are more likely on the table, but I assume they won't be too cheap. I would think all three would get a decent run next season if they stay with NSH

Offseason
Gonna take more than a mid 1st and some other piece of non-consequential value to land Saros.
Price probably starts at 2025 1st + Casey/Holtz

Nashville won’t be paying anyone to take McD. He’s played well for us this year, and we got plenty of cap

Only way Nashville would consider a deal with Ottawa is if they got that ‘24 first with no strings attached. Don’t see the Preds doing anything like this if they’re sending a first

The Leafs will have to give up something to make this work. Just makes no sense financially to have to pay two guys that won’t play more than one who isn’t playing

Preds don’t consider that. You’d be looking at Norris + a 1st for Saros at the very least

Saros at the Draft
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Nash</b></div><div>I would consider this. However, what NSH needs is some who could be a top 1 or 2 centre. We have snippers like this guy already in our pipeline, Kemmel, Wood etc. We need play good maker centre. Thats why I think Mercer might be better even though he was a lower pick. Its why NJ doesn't what to give Mercer. However I would consider this. But Drop the 5th round winger and add another pick. Your 2025 2nd or Your 2025 1st with will be much lower if Saros is in your net.
If you gave both Mercer and Holtz NJ could keep there 1sts. Maybe though us one 3rd some year.</div></div>
I see that for sure. Just wanted to try something different than Mercer, Casey, and a pick. Mercer would be a great add

Just signed him as a filler. I think there's a chance the preds go after a good 2nd pairing guy this summer, so wanted to get that in here

I think half the reasoning for making Holtz available is the confidence that Gritsyuk can step right into lineup. Not sure we would move both…in same deal.</div></div>
Not gonna lie, I was sorta thinking that as I made the deal. Just wanted to do something different than Mercer, Casey, and a 1st - even though I think that'd be a great deal

Novak is the opposite of a checking forward. Don't think he'd fit that role well at all. However, I doubt he's moved, especially for less than a 1st
