I’m curious if people think Buffalo would trade Bowen Byrams for Necas?

It would probably depend on what kind of contract Necas is looking for. The Sabres just traded for Byram so I can't imagine they would be looking to move him unless its for a piece that would help long-term. It should also be noted that Byram, Krebs and Cozens are all close so it would not be great team move to trade Byram so quickly.

Not gonna lie, if Nikishin we're a righty I'd be tempted... but he's a lefty and moving Chabot before his FULL NTC kicked in AND secure the kind of return we'd need from the move...
Too complicated.

rofl ya sure there buddy. OTT would not even blink a eye and decline and then sleep happily

LMFAO, no, they don't. Nikishin actually has Norris winning chances. He'd be the best D man you've had since Karlsson, and possibly a comparable to the Swede. Stop

I understand how good of a prospect he is, but I struggle with the idea of giving up the potential of whatever the 7th overall pick can be, and the roster security of Greig for a guy that plays a position that is not a position of need for the sens, and whos production comes from a league whos best players have already flamed out in North America. He'll be a fine player, but with no bias towards him I can;t confidently say hell be one of the best NHL dmen in the league.

If you've EVER watched him, you can confidently say he'll walk into the #1 role on 75% of the league already

For a future top 10 defenseman? Yeah they should. Good thing canes laugh staios off the phone here

Why not just keep the pick and draft a possible top 10 defenseman in Parekh or Buium? Then they also have Greig. Honestly I'd take Buium or Parekh over Nikishin easily right now. Until he has Norris votes well before those 2 they're all in the same prospect range.

These are bad. Other teams pass except for the Ottawa deal. Canes don’t do that

😂😂😂😂😂 Sens would never touch that.

Every team needs veteran leaders, SJS doesn’t have any. Granlund isn’t a vocal guy, so I thought it would behoove them to go out and get some guys. Kuz is on a really good contract - his playoff performance shows that - and KK can easily turn into a top 6, defensively responsible C

2 cap dumps for Bordeleau and the 42nd overall probably not
Burns for a 1st.. Oh my

Dead serious. Sabres lack that bonafide 1RW (Tuch is a 2nd liner at best), and Necas provides that for them. It’s worth the risk imo

Past 3 seasons 5v5:

Tuch 199GP 46G 69A 115P
Necas 237GP 36G 63A 99P

Worth the risk? The risk of giving up a Superstar Norris-level D-man ? Are you high?

You know what's harder than finding a guy that averages 12 5v5 goals that shoots right?

A Norris-level defenseman that plays on the right. (Who's also under team control for the next 8 years and just hitting his prime)

Just stop the non-sense.
