New Jersey just got Allen and really liked him. They won't be trading him. They will be targeting another goalie as they search for a strong tandem. That D looks shaky to me.

Chicago declines. Again.

And again, nobody is giving you a 3rd for Jarnkrok.

Wouldn't do that trade for Jarnkrok, but would trade Jensen for him. Money issues.

Devils trade makes 0 sense for them. They just acquired him with the intention of having him as a strong backup for next season, not to mention you have the retaining salary which they would never do.

I mentioned they could have a 3rd team retain and that they'd be going big fish hunting (as they should)

First they came for Hagel, and debrincat, dach, Kane, mccabe... when we finally thought it was over, they came for seth!

Oh Kyle, how could your rebuilding philosophy stay so consistent! We never saw it coming!

That D looks shaky? Per capfriendly that's three 1st pairing D, a second pairing D, and two 3rd pairing D, both of whom had success in 2nd pairing roles even into the playoffs. Pretty confusing take there, interested to know the reasoning for sure

Just in case you ever find the self control to use it. You're going to see Jones traded, and I'm going to reach out when it happens. Don't add me to your list until I get the chance to prove you wrong at least!

I get it, you guys, but this isn't an unreasonable proposal. If a top 10 pick is offered and Jones is willing to waive for TOR, KD would pull the trigger without much deliberation. I wouldn't go any higher than this on the retention, though.

Rebuilding teams save retention slots so they can use them on lucrative deals. This would be a lucrative deal that is worth CHI's consideration, imho.

A top 10 pick for the second worst contract in the league? Hahahah. I thought leafs fans were supposed to be the dumbest😂 you and paulkorea are ruining that

The proposal is literally offering an 8th overall pick, and it was NOT created by a CHI fan. That aside, CHI literally has no reason to move him unless they are getting a great package back, especially where there is retention involved. He is not the second worst contract in the league. Quit hanging onto dumb opinion pieces from two years ago.

Also, I am literally telling other CHI fans that they would be ill advised to not consider an offer that involves a top 10 pick for Jones. Learn some comprehension skills, bud.
