I assume you are trying to say Hawks retain. No that isn't happening. And neither is this trade. You will get nothing but cap space for Tavares.

After multiple years at the bottom, ANA isn’t trading away their ‘25 1st. Period.

Gibson doesn’t waive for TOR

ANA doesn’t target a pending UFA who wants a $12M contract, that doesn’t have a play style befitting Verbeek and Cronin. You could have Vatrano, Strome and the ‘24 BOS 2nd. But no way that’s worth it, so you guys should just be shopping him elsewhere

Verbeeka been building a team that when they get to the playoffs can go deep in the playoffs. Mitch can help with the first part, but he's shown he can't with the 2nd part, and occupying a 12 million in cap space is too much for a perimeter player who either can't or won't adapt when it really matters.
