I mean tbf he was awesome last year. Definitely has potential, probably more than Kuemper. A 3rd wouldn't do it by itself

Avs fans starting to realize georgiev is average and inconsistent. He had 1 lucky year which was an outlier

I remember when Avs fans chirped the rangers saying they traded away the wrong goalie

The 3rd in that Wood trade is going to the wrong team. Either that or you need to retain quite a bit and even then it's unlikely 'cause Wood isn't good enough to justify that kind of term for the Jackets.

I’ve seen it on this site or social media regardless of it being funny or serious…but if the Avs play the Rangers for the cup, I already know georgiev is standing on his head

Why would the Jackets give up a high 3rd for a player the Jackets have tons of? If we gave up a third there would need to be some sort of purpose that makes the Jackets better.

Rags will sweep the avs if they play like they have been. They ain't playing the contender they can be. It's not just georgiev fault either. The whole team regressed defensively for whatever reason.

Understandable. I was just saying that georgiev stands on his head against the Rangers because it’s his former team. His stats against the Rangers are too good

I read that hockey operations (but not business operations) is moving to SLC with the team, so I think they would say no. That said, if Smith changes things up to bring in their own people (like what Chipman/Thomson did when they bought the Thrashers) then you have a sliver of hope.
