Don't think Anaheim is looking for more defensive prospects. Pearson is a dump and Roy is meh, so all that's included here is a 1st and a prospect that's not really helpful to them.

Value isn't terrible but I don't think those are the pieces Anaheim wants.

You never heard about Roy before by making such statement. Roy have turn 20 before the season, could still be playing junior. He is 4th in scoring for rookie in ahl. Was undeniably one of the best players in all CHL for the past 2 season. He was one of the top forward for Canada on both of their gold medal run. He is a legitimate top prospect. If the 2021 draft was redo he would definitely be a top 15 maybe top 10 pick. Saying other wise is just pure hate or just ignorance. Roy would instantly become Anaheim best forward prospect and by a wide marge. Terrible analysis.

Lias Andersson also tore up the AHL when he was down there. Junior and minor production does not mean that he's going to be an exceptional NHL player. He's projected to be a middle-six forward and by no means would be Anaheim's best forward prospect when they have guys like Carlsson and McTavish. Stop being a homer.

Lias Andersson hahaha jesus lord thats pathetic. Roy hockey iq is elite, he got a great release, the only flaws in is game is is skating that he much improved from the time he got drafted. He is still only 20 and only get stronger so skating can be fix. Lias Andersson had never process the game at a high level and he never dominate any league he played in. He always been a good player but never a top gun like Roy was and is currently for Laval. Roy is also a magician on the powerplay with is elite hockey sense.
Toffoli would be a much better comparison or David Perron, both had amazing careers despite not being great skater. And by the way Mctavich and Carlsson are no longer prospects. Stop posting on threads about players you have no idea.

Reinbacher, Slafkovsly, their own 24 first round pick.
