Probably a first (late) or a second rounder and a smaller add. Similar to what bean got a few years ago. But alittle more as he’s better than bean was at the time.

The Wild are not in a position to be taking on cap... We don't need a goaltender either

To answer your title ?, I think the value here is more or less on point for Boqvist.

Also: Zero percent chance Minnesota eats that much cap for you. They still have RFAs to sign and the Parise/Suter buyouts killing $14M+ worth of cap.

Treliving likes his defence big and physical - Boqvist meets neither of those requirements so I doubt Toronto even calls about him

Yeah Toronto would be more interested in Peeke over Boqvist, and that offer would get Peeke, probably not enough for Boqvist.

Andrew Peeke is not worth a 1st and an organizational top prospect. Not even close.

Boqvist is a late 1st at minimum. Evidenced by the Rasmus Sandin and Nils Lundkvist trades recently. He's younger than both.

He's not as good at puck-moving as Sandin, but much more dynamic offensively. I think they all sort of get crushed by top-competition defensively.

Voit is a top prospect??... Yikes.

Yes Peeke is worth a late 1st and a low to mid tier prospect like Voit.

I said top organizational prospect. Read. & if you actually followed him, you’d know how good of a prospect he is. He’s one of those playmakers that makes his linemates better. He was the best player on a powerhouse Sarnia team this year. He’s actually a very good prospect.

& no. Peeke is not worth a 1st and a mid tier prospect. Not even worth a 1st. He’s a #4/5 guy, that’s not worth a late 1st.

Keep dreaming if you’re expecting a 1st.

Okay so a team with poor prospect depth, sure he's an organizational top prospect lol

Guess you really can’t read 🙄

Like I said, if you actually watched the prospect and followed him, you’d know what type of player he is. But I’m willing to bet a mortgage payment on the fact that all you’ve done is seen his stats online. Great analysis though.

No Ive watched him play 3 games in person last season, he's very small, for the most part unnoticeable on the ice but did put up 2 pts in those 3 games. I would be shocked if he sees NHL time in the next few years or if ever.

Ah 3 games! Let’s all go with your analysis of him based on 3 games! When he finished the season with 105 points in only 67 games. I think teams take notice to that.

Agree to disagree from here on out.
