Targeted Frost due to Torts benching him for 11 games this season. Hadn’t watched a lot of Flyers games this year but seeing that amount of healthy scratches for a “potential 2C” makes me think they’re more open to trading him than not.
Had them trading for Trouba to replace the deadline shipment of RHD Walker and not resigning Erik Johnson. The pairing with Drysdale not being a fit is a good point, that was just an idea I had. However, given that the Flyers are planning on Michkov coming over this year, I’d be willing to bet they’re more open to improving their D core than you’re giving credit for. Maybe they’d opt for a LHD instead but Sanheim could move to LD as he is left-handed. To shrug off this trade as “not having done research” seems a tad inaccurate, but I don’t take it personally since it’s coming from a Flyers fan
