Description

Offseason moves built with focus on increased speed through middle six (ie. Frost and Duclair) and quicker skating defense (Chatfield, addition by subtraction with Trouba, promoting Jones replace Gustafsson). This is based off hoping Philly isn’t on Trouba’s 15 team no trade list. Contract decisions made keeping in mind upcoming raises for Igor and Lafreniere. Buyout Option for Goodrow after 2024-2025 season and league-wide cap increase assist with this.

You guys don’t research when doing these lmao. We have no center depth and a bunch of RHD so let’s trade a potential 2C for a garbage RHD that’s overpaid and is a cheap-shot merchant.

Tippett and Seeler already got paid and we have plenty of cap space to reason our entire roster that needs to be and then some.

Drysdale is also a RHD so which of Drysdale or Trouba are playing on their off side to make them a pairing? Flyers aren’t going to hurt Drysdale’s development by playing him on the left and Trouba already can’t defend on the right so he’d be even worse on the left lol

Flyers can’t sign Frost to $4-5M but can take on $5.5M of Trouba gotta love CapFriendly lol

Had them trading for Trouba to replace the deadline shipment of RHD Walker and not resigning Erik Johnson. The pairing with Drysdale not being a fit is a good point, that was just an idea I had. However, given that the Flyers are planning on Michkov coming over this year, I’d be willing to bet they’re more open to improving their D core than you’re giving credit for. Maybe they’d opt for a LHD instead but Sanheim could move to LD as he is left-handed. To shrug off this trade as “not having done research” seems a tad inaccurate, but I don’t take it personally since it’s coming from a Flyers fan

Torts benched Frost to prove a point to him early in the season and then didn’t bench him since. They were open to moving him in December and according to reports aren’t now.

Ur also forgetting the fact that the entire world saw how bad Trouba was and not only is he not able to defend he also is nothing more than a cheap-shot merchant at that so if the Flyers try to improve the defense, they wouldn’t add Trouba
