The leafs are going to be looking for a tandem goalie, not spend huge on a big name. They do believe in Woll.

I respect the D core overhaul but I genuinely question whether this Leafs team is any better than this past years. I mean scoring was the problem in the Boston series, not defense. Sure Saaros could steal a game for you guys but that third line is…yikes. It’s a different team build for sure, and very possibly could have a better outcome but I don’t know if the FO would look at this and say confidently, “this team beats our team last year”.

I honestly think the Leafs shud keep him. Tavares comes off next year and can re-sign for much cheaper, you guys will have a ton of cap to get depth. + Cowan and Minten could be full NHLers at that time, should be a sick team.

Not remotely close to Saros. Nimela and the 1st. If you want Saros in a deal that doesn't involve Marner you need to start with Cowan and the 2024 1st. That said, NSH is unlikely to move Saros as all. Even though NSH has Askarov, he isn't ready for the NHL starters crease. He needs some consistent time in the NHL as Saros's backup and after 2-3 years like that, then he will be ready
