Another Giroux Trade
I'm just really low on Giroux. Great powerplay guy but the only flyers he's outscoring (p/60) at evens is the 4th line and Weise... lol. RNH is having a down year and has still done more.
Going on 30, declining, big cap hit w/ term. I'd rather get just RNH now if that means you're not strapped with him and that contract at 32.
Losing short-term value but in the long-term it'd be worth it.

blockbuster that won't happen but fair on value?
I'd do it from the Flyers perspective.
Subban for Weber 2.0.

Another Giroux Trade
Actually really like this trade. Don't love retaining salary (mainly because I'm so used to cap-hell from Holmgrom) but the basis of a Giroux - RNH swap seems to help both teams.
I'd be happy with them doing Giroux (No $) & Neuvy for RNH.

This. They're making <900k or they won't be back (like White). Wouldn't mind Franson for one year but not both. Not sure why we're moving Morin for a soon to be 33 years old center?

16-17 Season
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>slapshot18</b></div><div><i>Montreal wont need Streit they already have enough dman. Raffl is not even close to being worth 4 mil. Luke isnt gonna take less than what he was making. Voracek isnt worth 8mil hes a product of giroux</i></div></div>
Another 20 goal season and that's gonna be Raffl's price. He scored 21 goals in 67 games without being on the powerplay, and if he had B. Schenn's spot on the top powerplay he would've had a 30-goal season. Voracek is absolutely not a product of Giroux, all of Voracek's 5v5 stats are better than Giroux's and most of the league. Giroux still runs the powerplay but Jake is key to anything that line does at even strength. Also, like Jarett18 mentioned, if Luke wants over $2.5 let him walk and call someone up. He's a top-6 defenseman who can fill in when there's a top-4 injury, don't need another MacDonald-like contract.

Voracek, Josi, & Spurgeon come on board the Shark train in fair deals.

That first line would be filthy though.</i></div></div>
The good thing with Burns going to the Flyers (other than him being the quintessential Flyer in my view, as a Sharks fan I concede,) is that he can play as an elite power forward in the league, or if the prospects aren't quite getting the job done, can play at defense.
He's an absolute wrecking ball at forward and his 5-on-5 even strength play since 2013 / 60 minutes is 6th best in the entire league.</i></div></div>
As someone who primarily watches Eastern games, I wasn't aware of his #'s (looking it up kind of surprised me tbh). It's definitely a fair deal value-wise which is what you said in the title, I just don't feel like it fits the direction of the Flyers. We should (hopefully) be good in 4-5 years when Provorov/Sanheim/Ghost/Morin/Hagg are all hitting their primes and while Voracek would be 29/30, Burns would be 35 and on the decline. I tired making a counter point with both 5v5 & powerplay stats but every stat I tried to use Burns ended up beating Jake in anyway :|

16-17 Season
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div><i>Mark Streit for a first rounder? Keep dreaming.</i></div></div>
A 50-point top-4 d-man isn't worth a late 1st rounder to a playoff team that wants to go deep? Look at what the Canes got for Sekera this season from LA: 1st rounder + McKeown. Sure, Sekera is better defensively than Streit but Streit it better offensively. A team in a playoff position with a struggling powerplay would absolutely give up a first round pick for him. Also, it's not like age makes a difference - the Kings knew they could have problems re-signing Sekera, like they did, but made the trade anyway. Same can be said with Streit, a team would see him as someone who doesn't stay after the season is over.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jarett18</b></div><div><i>Pro athletes walk away from $9 million all the time. Keep dreaming.</i></div></div>
Yeah, I know it's a long-shot. If he doesn't, we just don't re-sign Medvedev and call-up Alt.
