Potential Leafs Roster next year
Yeah I'm pretty sure there is zero potential for power to be on the leafs roster next year.

I can see Terry buying our Skinner if it is Lindy that is saying it should happen.

I honestly like this move for both teams, it balances out the leafs and gives Utah a mega star to build their team and brand around. Matthews would decline the trade though.

Sabres would probably need to thrown in a first and Dahlin to make the trade work.

3 way deal
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Random_internet_guy_1967</b></div><div>I was definitely thinking that when I first put it together, but you can't use a bad playoff performance to discredit a guy who was a selke finalist a year ago, constantly scraps 100 points, and is only 26. I also didn't see Rosen and value him as a first and thought that because of the sheer quantity of potential top 6 guys you have you might be more willing to move a couple to open up more space for them in the lineup</div></div>
The issue is that Marner has one year left on his deal, then You will have to sign him to a major contract where the majority of it will be outside of his prime.

Skinner's buyout is not that bad so I can't see them giving up a top 10 pick to move him.

The Pulock deal is tempting as a Sabres fan, but man that is a lot of term for a player who will be on the wrong side of 30 next season.

I do love this time of year though, the leafs are losing again in the first round so there are 10 million ACGMs made by desperate leafs fans that are chalk full of completely unrealistic trades.

Would Toronto consider
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JokiStan</b></div><div>Idc what he does after this season lol, Kulich / Savoie if we keep him should be able to play 3C after next season. So in a sense, yes, he is a rental, but we absolutely need to make the playoffs ASAP</div></div>
I think there is zero chance either start the year with the Sabres. Sabres can't get younger, they are looking for a veteran 3C and need to keep them on the AHL for depth of a top 6 forward goes down.

Not sure why the Kraken do that. Borgen is a good stay at home RHD on a team friendly contract. Robinson is a good player, but the Kraken have like 4 forwards with his same skillset.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Tjm220</b></div><div>Manson is never going to agree to come to Buffalo, which is just as well because you can just keep Jokiharju instead. And you can also forget about Stamkos because why would he want to come to Buffalo? And since you need money to pay players with expiring deals next year, that’s fine too. I doubt Philly wants to give up on Cates, or that Buffalo doesn’t see him and Krebs as redundant (but Cates is clearly the better player right now).</div></div>
Stamkos is from Toronto so Buffalo could be appealing.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jfkst1</b></div><div>Because he got a NMC for a reason and the Penguins team are likely LESS of a threat to make the playoffs than the Sabres.<div class="quote">
The NMC is more so that he can control where he goes, not a dying need to stay in Buffalo. The Sabres have not made the playoffs in 13 years, it's not a given they will make the playoffs until they actually do. The Sabres are looking to hire more of a hard ass as a coach this time around which does not really match with Skinners game/personality so he may be looking for a way out. He would get the play with Crosby in Pitt.</div></div></div>

He's undersized, won't be an NHL center and doesn't play D.

I agree he would go to the Habs but I could see him waive to go to a playoff team.
