You also gotta realize I'm a big goalie guy, the only teams that I genuinely think have a bad tandem are the bottom three. Every other team has something positive going for them between the pipes in my opinion

If it's just the goalies, Blackwood/Vanecek should be higher, same with Husso/Lyon/Talbot.

Errson/Fedotov, Wolf/Vladar need to drop slightly.

Storlarz/Woll need to drop significantly.

also the caps tandem, having basically 2A 2B tandem of great backups, but still backups... not sure should be that high.

lastly the Carolina tandem seems a bit overrated

For starters on the Caps tandem, yea I'm a homer. It's a fantasy site. But calling Lindgren a backup after a 50 game, .911 SV% season is kinda crazy. He very clearly was, and is, our starter, and a good one at that. I also factored in the fact that the Caps are paying their tandem less than 2 million dollars total, which is insanely good value for the two they have

. As far as the Penguins, I really don't hate the tandem. Ned was solid last year, and Jarry overall is pretty good. My big problem is Jarry can be pretty inconsistent from week to week or month to month. Not saying he was as bad as Darcy Kuemper last year or anything, but for a team trying to compete with Sid, you need more from a 5 million dollar goalie. And a lot of the tandems I placed ahead are buoyed by how good the starter is, or how much potential there is to get better.

I probably overrate the hell out of Carolinas tandem but I like them so whatever

I could put Pittsburgh up above Edmonton and be okay with that
