And yet I’d still take the Sharks long term outlook over Montreals.

We are winning more cups in the next 20 years than y’all.

Vlasic is very likely to be bought out.

And Vanecek because I acquired Knight and SJ doesn’t have any retention slot to move Vanecek.

Why is he "very likely" to be bought out. They need to hit the floor and why would they create dead cap years when his base salary is low.

Buying out Vanecek doesn't really make sense. He wasn't good last year but he's only making 3.4M this year then he's up. Sharks need goalies anyway.
Vlasic will be up in 2 years before Smith and Celebrini are due for their next deals. Why buy him out when they need to hit the cap floor anyway?
SJS may have one of the brightest long-term outlooks in the league. They need to fill out the pipeline on defense but Celebrini-Smith is gonna be the next Crosby-Malkin / Mcdavid-Drai of our generation.
They're gonna be bad for 2 or 3 more years, but once they add a couple more top picks (probably on D) they're gonna be scary.
