Good point. He'd have to be with the Sharks long enough to earn it. Ferraro could be Captain. Vlasic doesn't have the right personality for it. Also seems weird to scratch the Captain on a regular basis. Granlund, Sturm, and Kunin have shown leadership.

LMFAO OTT is not trading 7th OA to dump Norris, they will buy him out before that.

I think if sens are gonna dump a contract, it would be Korpisalo over Norris. Think they are still hopeful he’ll recover and be back to his old self. Especially if the cost is 7oa.

There is no way Ottawa would trade the 7th overall pick to "dump" Norris. If he's healthy he either stays with the Sens or gets shipped for something that doesn't require a kicker. If he's injured he just gets LTIR'd.

Got it. What about Norris for Couture straight up, no pick?

True 7oa. I should have proposed another pick.

I'd rather keep ahold of Norris, especially if Couture "doesn't play again" as you put it.

A buyout of Norris is dirt cheap if they do it this year and actually puts moneyback in the short-term. Sharks can try to sign him from the boneyard if they want. I think Couture is a Shark FL.

I dont see Ottawa doing that
Vancouver that is the going rate. if they want to resign everyone then they have to move Mikheyev and no one is going to help then out for free Canuck fans
Lee would be a good move to help with leadership. I doubt SJ has a captain this season. Vlasic is not Captain material, Ferrero still too young and maybe moveable for the right price
