In what world..that would be such a bad usage of assets. Canes will use the first on an impact player in a package or keep it. Not using it to acquire bottom pairing dmen

He's been in the doghouse for at least three coaches with the Sharks. It's probably worth a shot since he can always be buried, but Boughner and DeBoer both had issues with him too.

He excelled under PDB.
Boughner was awful as was Quinn. The team really was bad too.

I think he can get back to 50 points, but he's not going to be a star 200 foot guy. Never was.
