Big Z is reported to be asking for 6.5 mil but if nobody offers him that much he has to know he'd be one of Toronto's best defensemen. Knowing he'd be playing in the top 4 could make them a front runner to get him for under 6 mil.

Probably would require a bit more term though. He and his agent will probably figure Treliving will go the extra mile to bring him to Toronto. I would guess that Treliving pays 5.5Mx5 or 6Mx4 assuming he misses on Pesce.

You’re out of your mind if you think that Nashville declines that trade. They’ve been asking about Marner for years now and Nashville has another really solid goalie in there system already askarov
