I know Leaf fans hate their own, but in what world is Jenner a second line centre over Tavares. Jenner is a good 3rd line LWer, maybe a second liner at best. That's two much to give up for him for a guy who have been injured for three straight seasons.

It’s more about spreading out the talent with JT on the 3rd line. He looked fantastic last season on the 3rd.

If Minten isn’t untouchable - he’s close. Have to be a better player coming back imo if we were to include him in trade package

You asked for Boone. You already know the answer. Why do we have to keep doing this over and over and over?

Minten isn't untouchable but his ELC is very important for the leafs when he will make the team in 25-26, same with Cowan.

It makes no sense to have an 11M 3C. If JT isn't good enough to be 2C, he should be LW1or2. He imo is the best leaf along the boards winning puck retrieval battles. Maybe if they can't keep Bert give JT that spot he has better talent and will go to the dirty area's.

There's zero reason to trade a 19yo C prospect with such high upside, especially at a position of need

Trading that package for jenner could end up being an enormous blunder

Jenner isn't available, but that is the kind of package that would get consideration.

The Jackets do actually have 3, maybe 4, untouchable pieces, and you asked for one of them. (Fantilli, Jenner, Werenski, Jiricek*)

CHI isn't taking a $2.4M x 3 year contract off TOR's hands for a 5th round pick. I hope this comment helps and finds you well.

It's got a pathetic history, so much so that he's the games played leader and arguably the most significant player in franchise history, hence being untouchable.

But hey, at least we've got more series wins than the Leafs, plus a head-to-head playoff vicotry, in the last 20 years. So congrats, your favorite team is more pathetic in the last 20 years than the banner child for pathetic franchises in North American sports.
