A 4th isn't worth a whole lot and Mikheyev is better than Zaitsev so its about even.

The Hawks took 1 1/4 years of Zaitsev and are being asked to take two full seasons of Mikheyev here.

I said it before Chicago should ask for Vancouver’s 2025 1st round pick. If they need to take another contract for cap reasons they could settle for a 2nd.

He's still overpaid and not very good, and there's a question of whether you even want to waste minutes on a guy like this when a young guy could develop with the ice time. Certainly not ideal to pay $9.5m over 2 years for the privilege!
