Lee isn't being dumped this offseason, thats something for next. Anyways the deal would probably be Lee and a 2nd for future considerations. Isles won't be using a 1st to dump Lee. Lou has no history of doing so, he even got out of the Ladd deal and didn't use a 1st

I don't really see the benefits for the other teams justifying what they're giving Chicago.

That offer would be lucky to land Jordan Staal, nevermind Necas

murphy is fine but i would rather just give up a 1st and a prospect for him than move necas in the deal. murphy isnt the caliber of player we should target to get back in a necas deal

Walhstrom is into bust territory at this point so not going to be highly valued as a part of any trade which is why the Islanders may be better off keeping him.

Moving Lee will cost a 1st or at (2) 2nds, without anything going back.

Agree on a (late 1st) or 2 2nd's. Lee is not a complete dump as he can still play some, but he is overpaid 3-4 million depending on if you think his game will decline even more at his age over the next 2 seasons. The net of the draft picks proposed here is a late 1st....which again is in the range of fair. Donato is a guy likely to give you Lee production for less than a 1/3rd of the cap hit at an age where you don;t have to worry about a rapid decline. Totally agree on Wahlstrom, unless you simply want to do the kid a favor with a change of scenery you might as well keep hoping he blooms late and not give up.

Barron >>>>> 3rd round pick

Barron is most likely a 3rd pairing guy for his ceiling so yes probably worth more like a 2nd (on a generous day late 1st if you still fancy his upside as middle pairing). Hawks probably won't view him as worth their own 2nd this year (or next since they likely suck again). If the Habs would settle for one of the Kings or Nucks 2nds with a small add, I could live with that.

Or montreal can just keep him or trade him in a package

I'd be hoping for Sennecke, Basha, Emery, or Hage with those 18 an 20 picks. But Chernyshov wouldn't be a bad bet either. I definitely love the idea of adding another 1st over trading up using the TBL pick. That said, I think this ACGM needs more work, to say the least.

Not even remotely close to what it would take for Necas.
