1st rounder seems a bit expensive for a depth forward that really isn't needed in NY...

Well, if that's the best that the Flyers can do for their new young #1 center, then I don't think it's enough. Besides, I doubt that Zegras is a Briere or Tortorella kinda guy.

As an outside party to these I would say they seem pretty equal. Although I do think you are overpaying a bit on Zegras. But Ducks fans are so high on him its crazy

Why does zamula keep showing up in these Sabres trades? The Sabres have 5 left shot d, all puck movers except Samuelsson. Not a skill set we need more of.

We have too many guys we need to pay after next season
VERY unlikely to bring in anyone that would have a big Cap hit moving forward

Rangers are a little more analytically inclined at this point and Laughton had a pretty terrible results wise and analytically-wise. Cant see them truly wanting him, let alone giving up a 1st round pick

Funnily enough, Briere has actually gone on record before and when asked who his favorite players to watch in the league were, mentioned Zegras as one of them
