Even with an extension MTL wouldn’t consider, and for the OP MTL didn’t want Askarov ++ for Reinbacher

MTL rejected 15th, 24th, and Askarov for Reinbacher, pretty sure as hell they aren't going to trade Reinbacher and Roy for Saros, who is definitely worth a lot less than Askarov

We are set in goals. Montembeault and Primeau are a good duo and we have Dobes, Fowler and Volhokin who were all very good this year

I wouldn't say Saros is worth less than Askarov, but agree he makes no sense for MTL whatsoever.

The proposal isn't nearly as outlandish as that Sherwood contract though. I really like Sherwood, but that's crazy.

There nothing realistic here. Roy and Reinbacher are blue chip prospect. Habs have absolutely no need for a 30 year old goalie.

I my view he is. Is hockey iq is just off the chart. I think that if he can improve is skating just a bit more he can be a ppg producer at NHL level.

You are entitled to your opinion but that doesn’t makes him a blue chip prospect
I am extremely high on him but I don’t consider him a blue chip prospect

Doesn’t seem like i cam have a opinion, you just contradicted yourself in one sentence. I view Roy has a blue chip prospect. You might not that your opinion but i won’t change my mind. I think Roy will fight for the Calder next year if Dach play a healthy full season.

My bad I wanted to mention I am extremely high on Lane Hutson, but that still doesn’t makes him a blue chip prospect in the eyes of other GMs

Did you just said that Hutson isn’t a blue chip prospect in the eye of other Gm?
