Habs decline imo. Barron looked good at the end of the season and I think he has more value, whether it's to our team or on the trade market, than Nick Robertson brings.

For the right price, the Habs would probably be interested in Nick Robertson as a cheap reclamation project.

Weren't the Isalnders about to sign Bailey this offseason after CHI bought him out?

Toronto had to pay a 1st round pick to get rid of Marleau’s $6M contract on a buyout, but you think Utah’s gonna take Tavares’ $11M cap hit and buy it out to move up from late 30s to early 20s in a **** draft?

LOL.

Wouldn't it make more sense for NSH to re-sign Beauvilier, instead of giving up a draft capital to replace him with an older player?

There is no chance Seattle moves on from Tolvanen, he is one of their best young forwards. Terrible move by Nashville putting him on waivers.

Habs wouldn't be giving up the better pick in a Barron - Robertson swap

So you expect the coyotes to

A) give you mcbain

B) buyout tavares at 10+ million

To move up a handfull of spots. Thats horrible.

Oh and mtl also declines

I love that Tavares re-signs for 5M??? WOW! His money is almost 100% guaranteed and he gets another 5M??? Also I don't think its legal anyway.

Final point...Utah are all in next year...they aren't doing any sort of deal like that...they will be very aggressive is my guess...put out a love at first sight team like Vegas did

Drop Barron from the deal and you're probably on par with what some team would pay for Robertson, that team will not be Montreal however.
