Maybe with strong goaltending. Their forward lineup is still very lackluster outside of some major improvements from young players.

I don't think so but I will say, this is a better roster than the Washington roster that made it this year, so you never know lol

I agree. I think forward depth is decent but no stars and RW is weak. I think defense is very improved and not horrible overall. Yeah goaltending would need to be strong, Blackwood was good this year (on a bad team) and interested to see how Vanecek performs.

Not close lol.

San Jose is the summer of 2020 Detroit phase of their rebuild right now. They’ve bottomed out and should gradually get better as their prospects develop, but they’re still not a great team.
