I'm frankly not seeing what Mangiapane brings us that makes him worth trading for.

It's more of a move for the sake of doing something. I was trying to find a forward who fit the potential return for Boqvist/Texier, and fell on CGY and Mangiapane just as two teams who are looking to change things up.

Whoever is the new GM will make calculated moves. This is just grounds to be fired immediately.

Then you've either never watched him play or you're one of those people who think the only thing that matters is how many points a player gets.

I don't watch him regularly but I have seen him play. My impression is that he's basically Texier with more hype.
