To say the least that’s not worth it for Buffalo.

Wow this is bad. You’ve managed to trade away most of our future for a team that still stinks.

That’s a big “Lolololol” from the Sabres

We aren’t trying to get rid of Skinner- not in the REAL world,
just some clowns on here

And Peterka is likely untouchable

Zero Chance this happens

In what's considered a pretty weak draft yes, Outside the top 5 it's a pretty weak draft with not much talent.

The sharks pick is all but guaranteed to be top 3.

Leon Draisaitl > > > > > Celebrini+Eklund and that's if the Sharks get the #1 overall pick. Leon Draisaitl is a generational player like McDavid and will be extremely expensive to acquire. Yeah like I said it's just not enough.

So what?
Sharks pick will be in the top5, so how does it matter that it’s (supposedly) “weak” after that???

It’s not worth arguing about. Leon Draisaitl is a great player, but makes no sense for the Sharks right now. The Sharks are 3-4 years away from competing, so younger players like Celebrini and Eklund make a lot more sense for them.

You're right Sharks need to think young, Not add a 30 year old player next year who's probably going to command 8 x $13,000,000 who's going to be trending on the wrong side of 30.

Hawks decline. They aren't close to moving on from Reichel. And that package probably wouldn't get it done anyway.

A bunch of spare change isn’t enticing in the slightest to make the Canes trade Necas.

Not enough imo. William Eklund, Henry Thrun, Quentin Musty, 2024 1st (SJS), would be a lot closer to getting accepted. Of course, if San Jose traded for Draisaitl, they would want him to come with an extension.

It’s a bad move for SJS. You’re rebuilding so keep your picks and Gushchin is performing well in AHL. He may see regular NHL time next season and who knows how he’ll perform. Plus Granlund is an NHL body.

Gushchin doesn't seem like the type Chicago has been targeting recently though. I think it's a hell of a package being offered for someone who hasn't produced after being hyped but the kid is still way too young to be a reclamation project imo. I think it's an overpay based on this year but an underpay considering his potential.

The Sharks should keep their picks and young players. Especially their 2024 1st round pick.
