I think this is silly. Nemec will be a top pairing defenceman on the right side by this time next year (at 21 years old), Bahl is no slouch either.

Nashville would decline. A very late first and a wing prospect we don't need isn't enough to move Saros when he's still our starter. Askarov may look promising and should probably look to get starts in 2024-25, but Saros is still the starter and the team is trying to be competitive. It would have to be a better prospect or a higher pick to entice Nashville to move Saros.

Bahl and Hamonic are throw ins... I don't think Ottawa would even consider Brady for Nemec 1 for 1. Definite pass.

Kotka would be sacreligious in Ottawa but the premise of moving Chabot to make way for Sandy and Chych is intersting.

Assuming Skjei walks, the Canes still have Orlov, and Nikishin is expected to come over next season as well. They have no need nor desire to take on Chabot.

First off, I don't think the Sens should move Chabot. He is an elite play driver when playing at his best and if the Sens can find a solid shutdown D to pair him with in the offseason (Tanev, DeMelo) his defensive flaws won't get exploited as much and he will thrive. Secondly, Canes would not be a good fit for Chabot. He would have a pretty tough time adjusting to playing for a team that actually has a system. Also, even if the Canes move Skjei, they still have Orlov and Nikishin so they are fine at LD.

Thirdly, Tkachuk ain't going anywhere

If in 2 years levshunov is a rookie in the first year of his ELC making 900k while effectively handling 20+ minutes a game and looking fantastic, yes he will be worth more than bratt
