i would take nyr in the next couple years, carolina in the mid term, and columbus if we're talking 7+ years out. we match you pretty well at every position you've got talent at except we're younger, so the long term timeline benefits us.

Vanecek has been a bottom 3 goalie this year. Siegenthaler and Hamilton are done for the year Hughes Hischier Meier Haula and Palat have all missed atleast a month each McLeod is probably a r*pist. Last game they literally dressed 2 defensemen over the age of 23 no team ever survives this level of bad luck

Well now all the injuries are adding up, but when they lost only Hughes or only Hirschier, they were still losing regardless. Oilers and canes have had bad goaltending as well

I agree with this rangers would be dumb to sell Kakko for a rental like Monahan who's realistically only worth a 2nd in every other year. Realistically the best they'd do in a trade is getting another top 5ish pick like Kakko who has struggled as well and just hope the change of scenery works.
