I think Spencer Knight should be the target this summer. Not sure about the valuation though but I think the cost would be more like Xhekaj.

Question: If Foegele is available, why would Chicago not just prefer to get Foegele to get to the floor?

I would accept that offer as the Los Angeles GM.

bc I think Hoffman has more upside at the TDL (could get them a better pick) he also makes more which gives them more room with the cap

      Hmmm:

Then why don't the Habs keep him?

How is this a "quiet" off-season?
Most GMs are lucky enough to 1 or 2 off-season impact moves .....let alone the 5 you're proposing

idk. it isn't realistic. its just my take on the team. would rather not have hoffman on the team

I don't want him either, but I call the logic that he brings more than Foegele at the TDL suspect!

Clearly a commentary on the missing obligatory PLD deal

Hawks won't have any problem getting to the cap floor without taking on cap dumps for free.

not a chance Chicago or anyone else takes a cap dump (Hoffman in this case) for free; it's not how the league works.

Neither were seen as a cap dump though by the Hawks, there was value to the team for different reasons. Hoffman is a defensive nightmare so not playing the game the way the Hawks are building, not someone to lead the team in any way shape or form, and we don't have a linemate that can set him up in the offensive zone to boost his stats enough to get real value at the TDL.

He's not one of our top defeseman (see Seth Jones, Murphy, Vlasic and Korchinski) and Tinordi is on a very cheap contract to protect the young guys. Hoffman is expensive and does not play the game the way the hawks are coaching...done...sorry you're so easily offended snowflake

You're also a salty gas lighter who never read the entire report or cared to understand the facts because you're just a lazy bitter individual; yes, the joke is on you...GO BEDARD!
