You can get some real assets for Dvorak and Anderson if you wish to dump them you know? You would essentially pay a 3rd to upgrade Dvorak for Hayes, while he has 3,000,000$ higher cap hit and one year longer contract.

Typical Hab fan delusion. Kakko isn't being traded, period. But I will give you credit for switching the delusion from Laffy to Kakko.

Rangers would move kakko in the same way they'd move Laf. For an overwhelming offer.
Caufield, MTL 23 first, mtl 24 unprotected first, and FL's first.

That kind of applies to all players and teams.

You're talking as if you are the GM. There are many reasons why Kakko would be traded.

- Extremely underwheelming for a 2nd overall in his 3rd NHL season
- Wasnt drafted by Drury
- They need to pay Miller and Laffrenière.

You are the delusional one if you think NY isnt considering moving Kakko, especially for a 22nd overall pick in one of the best draft class of the past years and a young defenseman who has progressed more in 1 season than Kakko has in 3 season

Boston declines.

Not for value or need. For cap purposes.

The delusion is yours if you think Drury has any intentions of trading Kakko. You obviously know nothing about the player Kakko is right and now and will become or about the Rangers in general.

Philly declines. 1 Hayes is more productive and valuable than Anderson. Anderson's contract is worse because of the extra term. 3 Philly is not in immediate need of any cap relief. Deal just makes zero sense for them.

A 22 years old 2nd over pick who is still an average 3rd liner and has maxed out at 40 points? Reminds me a lot of Puljujarvi if you ask me

40 points in 15 minutes per game, with 0 powerplay time and is an excellent 2 way player, easily becomes a 60-70 point player with powerplay time.
The rangers are currently deep on both the left wing, and the right wing. 40 pts while getting 15 minutes a game, is actually a pretty solid 5v5 production.
Theyre not underperforming. The rangers have a very good situation right now, so long as we can re-sign kakko and miller, we're going to be a dangerous team for years.

As a habs fan i find this so funny... The pedigree of high draft picks i suppose.... I see no evidence that Laffy is going to become a Hughes.. no evidence as sy\uch his pedigree is higher that he actual value.. let the rangers hang unto his pedigree and play him on their third line like a checker.... He doesnt look like a goal scorer to me... And Kakko is the same thing... another guy with draft pedigree who is performing on a third line and playing a decent two way game but does not look like a first line player.... if they thought so highly of these guys they wouldnt have traded for kane and tarasenko.. who are legit first line players..

Where the rangers will get into trouble is if they desire to re-sign Tarasenk or kane... as they wont have the cap space for both and even one of them means they might not be able to fit Kakko and Laffy contract and lets say kane's contract all under the cap... and that is why these trades suggestions keep coming up

So if they walk away from kane and tarasenko they will be able to sign laffy and kakko

Didn't ask you. Rangers are very happy with him and he isn't going anywhere.
