CHI isn't giving up assets and their "Tank Commander" for UPL. There is no point to that move for CHI. It is also pretty unlikely they re-sign Toews or Kane this summer, after they already ripped that bandaid off.

I don't think Kane's coming back. Once he left, he'll play his last few years trying to win then retire back in Chicago likely. But I don't hate it if he's open to it. What I do hate is 6 years. oof. Toews coming back would be a surprise at this point because of his health, but if he did I think the dollar would have to be lower or the term would be one year, then see how the season goes and sign another 1 year.
