Trades
1.
VAN
  1. 2023 2nd round pick (NJD)
NJD
  1. Schenn, Luke
Additional Details:
I think a playoff team will pay a 2nd for Schenn. Doesnt have to be the devils. Try to resign him in free agency after the season
2.
VAN
  1. Grans, Helge
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (LAK)
LAK
  1. Garland, Conor
Additional Details:
Right shot dman. Garland adds to LAs top 9, to make a better playoff push and LA has a bunch of D prospects. If we can get a 3rd thats a bonus.
3.
NYR
  1. Boeser, Brock
  2. Rathbone, Jack
Additional Details:
With Grans coming in from LA, might aswell move Rathbone. With Hughes and Grans who are offensive dmen not sure its necessary to have Rathbone. NYR need offensive help and Boeser is a goal scorer. Him and laf could use a change of scenery. We just pray laf turns out.
4.
OTT
  1. Myers, Tyler
Additional Details:
Rumored a couple weeks ago. And Zaitsev can be sent to the minors which would save more money
5.
VAN
  1. 2023 2nd round pick (SEA)
SEA
  1. Pearson, Tanner
Additional Details:
Im not sure Pearson would get a 2nd round pick but Seattle is looking to go on a playoff run and Pearson would add to there top 9. Seattle also has 3 2nd rounders so dont see them having any issue trading one of them.
6.
VAN
  1. DeBrusk, Jake
  2. Lysell, Fabian
  3. 2023 1st round pick (BOS)
BOS
  1. Miller, J.T.
Additional Details:
Debrusk wanted out of Boston last year,
Lysell is a good young player and then
there 1st round pick will more than
likely be between 22-32 overall
7.
VAN
    Get Rid Of Him

        9.
        VAN
        ANA
          Explanation:

Here you have your core players to build around in all you need to do is continue to draft well and add players to the bottom 6 and bottom defensive pair
          10.
          VAN
          1. Edvinsson, Simon
          Additional Details:
With the Byram trade I was hoping for an established NHLer. Im not sure Stevey Y wants to move Edvinsson but ive heard rumors hes interested in Horvat.

Is this more reasonable than Byram?
          DET
          1. Horvat, Bo
          Additional Details:
          Horvat for Byram Trade Before:
With all the avs injuries and they have been rumored to be interested in Horvat, I think this makes sense for both sides. The avs D is stacked so moving Byram I think makes sense. I think the avs would do this if they could get Horvat resigned.
Seems to be getting vetoed which I understand

          Rangers decline for sure.
Horvat to Colorado seems like a perfect fit in my mind. But Bowen Byram is untouchable.
I agree 2nd for Schenn seems probable.

Those are the trades I will comment on.

          COL declines. Won't move Byram.

A second for Pearson is way too much, so the Kraken also decline

Rangers decline, and never ever take a phone call from Vancouver ever again.
Bruins also decline, and laugh into the face of the newest poverty franchise on the block.

Helge Grans for Conor Garland is probably decently close to fair value in isolation, but with Gabe Vilardi, Viktor Arvidsson and Arthur Kaliyev playing RW on the top three lines, and Kevin Fiala or Adrian Kempe available to play there when Alex Iafallo fully recovers, the Kings have no real need for Garland. Los Angeles has a surplus of RhDs including Sean Durzi, Jordan Spence and Sean Walker in addition to Grans, but one of them probably won't be traded for anyone other than a LhD or outright steal.

Rangers would almost certainly prefer to take their chances on at least four more years of Alex LaFreniere rather than two more years of Brock Boeser.

Colorado loves Bowen Byram, so as @TMLBRIAN says, the Avalanche won't be trading him.

The Avs would never do this, Byram is a team controlled 21 yr old top pairing level dman that is FAR more important with MacKinnon’s contract kicking in next season.

Easy no for the Avs even if they were in some way able to re-sign Horvat.

Ottawa says hell no. Why would a cap strapped team like Ottawa trade a $4.5 million awful defenceman for a $6 million awful defenceman?
