Yea I'd trade Wilson. You'd probably get a first and sweetener, and he shouldn't be considered a long term piece of the team imo. Fan favorite or not, if you sign him long term into his 30's and injuries/age catch up with him it could get rough.

Why not cash out now, improve your prospect pool and give someone else a shot in the system to fill Wilson's role?

I don't particularly understand the vitriol from Leafs fans towards Samsonov, especially in this round. Take, for instance, game 2, where he was beaten twice on cross creases that defense didn't cover, yet Leafs fans seemingly blamed him for the loss depsite it being a 1 goal game. Vanecek has been bad and that's been obvious, but watching the Leafs feels like Samsonov's getting the same scapegoat treatment he received here.
