Description
Continuation of my previous offseason, same moves minus a modified Marner trade. Focus for this team is getting more physical with the additions of Bennet, Faksa, and Kulikov. Theodore signing is an assumption that Vegas will not be able to retain him. Jiricek is who I would hope to have drafted at pick 23 in 2024

    Additional Details:
Colorado acquires a good 3C for a decent price considering the center market and their lack of center depth

    TOR
    1. 2024 3rd round pick (CBJ)
    Additional Details:
Kaliyev doesn't find a full time roster spot in the top-9 with Cowan coming up and Maggio being close to making the roster

    2. Rinzel, Sam [Reserve List]
    3. 2026 4th round pick (OTT)
    Additional Details:
Liljegren requires a change of scenery after there's no space for him on either powerplay, Toronto acquires a decent center prospect in Dach and a decent D prospect in Rinzel who ironically was picked with their 1st-rounder in the Mrazek trade. Toronto also sheds cap
    CHI
    1. Liljegren, Timothy
    Additional Details:
Chicago acquires a decently young 2nd pairing defenseman for their team who matches their timeline, they're giving up 2 decent prospects and a pick but they are all expendable

There is absolutely no way the Isles give up for one year of overpaid Marne

LA says keep Robertson, Kaliyev is bigger with more expierence and more valuable. Robertson is too small and LA has enough smaller guys.

Toronto insn't getting close to that for Marner.

Marner is going to fetch close to what Ottawa got for DeBrincat last year - a roster player (probably a dump contract), a first round pick and a middling prospect without retention. It's why the 'we're probably going to keep him talk' has surfaced. Toronto has zero leverage in any trade, and Mitch probably declines anyway due to his relationship with Lou.

SJ also isn't taking Reaves for free. Toronto needs to throw a sweetener in (Steeves, Abruzzese).
