Zegras has more value than laine imo. Plus the blue jackets have zegras 2.0 in Kent Johnson. I wouldn’t hate bringing him in to try him out but just don’t see the fit tbh. (Unless he learns how to play center alittle better) otherwise he’s just like the rest of the team. Can stand at the dot but can’t win it or stay below the puck in the d zone.

Laine isn't as valuable as Zegras. He would be a very good add for Anaheim though

Oh yeah the jackets take this offer in a heartbeat and flip zegras. No shot the ducks offer this. Although laine would be a great fit with the ducks. Laine and carlsson would be lethal

No, we're not trading Trevor Zegras for Patrik Laine. As @Subbanator7667 says, we might add Laine in return for the Boston second, but I doubt that we would be willing to wager more on the risky Laine. And as @Friendly_Cannon accurately says, Zegras is more suited for playing wing and I think that's where he's going this season. (Zegras and Caufield at LW, Carlsson and McTavish at C, and Terry at RW.)
