Can’t see Laine as a fit with Tocchet. Columbus could likely get more with retention anyways

Doubt Mikheyev has any value we probably have to pay to dump him

Serious question: Does anyone actually think about how these trades would affect the other team? I only say this bc anyone who proposes trades with Columbus most of the time are extremely biased against the Jackets. CBJ is a team that is wanting to compete. We are not interested in pieces that are your cast offs.

No, because no one cares about Columbus. They don't care about Columbus so much, in fact, they have to scroll past the fold to specifically find Columbus on the list of teams for "send anywhere" trades.
