Nope. Aside from Seth Jones there is nothing I would want from the CBJ to get the 1st OA....You would be getting your franchise 1C for basically nothing....an under achiever in Johnson, a fading star in Hartnell and Flash In The Pan Foligno?? Would you really do that? You got Seth Jones for Ryan Johansen.....let that sink in......ready? Ok....Matthews &gt; Johansen in 3 years and you want to give a cornerstone 1C for 3 average to above average players? No way. You wouldn't do that deal for Johansen....not in a million years</i></div></div>

Hartnell has 109 points in the last 2 years. Johnson is still 2nd pairing capable, and Foligno, well who knows who will show up this year, the 2014-15 or the 2015-16 player. I probably wouldn't make the deal either. but don't forget you would also get the 3OA (and we would call it even for taking Clarkson contract off your hands...someone needs to teach Mr. Jarmo about fiscal responsibility from now on. Oh well).</i></div></div>

We took an uninsured Nathan Horton contract off your hands in the Clarkson deal...don't forget that. That was a big deal to the management of the CBJ

Bozak is NOT a long term solution...2years is not exactly "long term"

Corrado is still a projectible, serviceable D. Holland is a decent 3rd/4th line scorer and NJ already has Blackwood as the heir apparent to Schneider. This is not a bad deal. Regardless of your apparent disdain for any trades not first thought up by you.

Any reason CAR says no? Or is it just you wanting to furiously type the word "no" and beat your record for the amount of "cap friendly" trades you say no to?

I think that is the point, though. OEL is great. He is 24(?). He is a #1 D man on 25 teams. He is ELITE.

Strome isn't the Caliber of Matthews, it's like comparing Duchene to Tavares, Duchene is really good and is a solid option for a number 1 centerman but Tavares will carry your team for 15 years</i></div></div>
