JVR/Jenner swap
Asking price is a lot with JVR, as is with many 1st line wingers (i.e JVR, Landy, Ebs, etc.). So I think Leafs would ask for Prout instead of Harrington.

I suppose I wouldn't be opposed to the idea, but the right side is more-so set than the left. We rarely see any line juggling with the RWers. Wennberg-Foligno, Dubinsky-Atkinson, Karlsson-Anderson, Sedlak-Gagner has been relatively consistent all year. I think RNH would be of more interest to Columbus than Eberle.</i></div></div> True true, but it's too late now haha.

Hanifin/Puljujarvi trade proposal
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Max</b></div><div><i>As an Oilers fan I wouldnt do this trade as a one for one because poolparty still has potential to be an elite forward in the NHL. If there were more pieces in play it might make it more interesting.</i></div></div> I think this would be a great trade for the Oils. Hanafin has loads of potential, and since he's an LHD, it gives them a chance to flip one of Klefbom, Nurse, or Davidson (keep Sekera, he's been amazing this year) for an RHD or scoring winger.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div><i>TheOtherOne" What deliberately slow the development plan, cause you're ahead of it now? Really?</i></div></div> I never said to "deliberately slow the plan down". That's actually not at all what I said. All I said was that the Leafs main priorities was to 'seek and develop'. By that I mean they wanted to seek out the players that they can trust to play a 200ft game and play on both sides of the puck/understanding how to play in between the defensive dots and create turnover from there. And then develop the players. That was supposed to be -like I said- 1 to 3 years. They are ahead of what they thought, so now, of course they want to make the playoffs if they have the chance to. No question about that, but to say that their plan was to make the playoffs from day 1, or even this year, is false.

Puls looks pedestrian usually, but I know it's stupid to even judge that as of right now. "Not a chance"? I'm pretty sure Hextall would be asking for more than what I offered, so you saying that Ghost is not worth it and just by judging off his point totals of this year, just goes to show how ignorant you are by saying that.

And "no part in"? I'm pretty sure they would take two really good prospects and a 1st for a top-4 Dman. Though there's probably something better out there than the trade I put up for them.

Development was one of main priorities in the first couple of years. They didn't expect Matthews, Marner, etc to start dominating in the early goings of the 2nd year.

Your absolutely right Burns is not a 200 foot player but babcock loves having one dementional players on his rosters. Where was PK Subban the year after winning the Norris....oh that's right in the luxury box and he played like 10 min that tournament. Why was that? because like burns he is one dementional. So Martinez was on the World Cup team for a reason and I think that was because he can play 20 -25 min and plays a Shutdown role which babcock needs on the roster. It was a tough choice but I went for the player that will help not just on 5v5 but also on the PK.</i></div></div> Are you stupid?
Burns not a 200ft player?
Have you ever watched him? You obviously have no clue what you're talking about. So you should probably stop before you further embarrass yourself.
