Worry about the rest later
Trouba sucks, is too expensive and wouldnt waive for Buffalo.
Bennett trade is way off.
Nashville is not taking Skinner with whole cap hit. No clue if there is interest at all, but at 9 mil they are definately not interested.
Konecny trade would be approved by Sabres.
Jeannot would not

That's okay. Bottom pairing isn't a need for the Jets anyways. They have plenty of those guys.

These are good.
Had not seen that Joki wants a big raise. Interesting.
Exactly kind of trade LV will be looking for.

With Boyko and Ollas already signed for next year in the minors, I was thinking the NYR have an overcrowded Goalie room, with Domingue also signed for another year in NHL. 3 goalies in NHL and 3 in the minors, seems like a lot.</div></div>
Well how I view it we don't really need to move on from Kakko unless he makes it clear he doesn't want to be apart of the team long-term. And Garand I see as a stronger option than Ollas.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Stanley_Cup_To_Manhattan</b></div><div>Trouba could be moved. Don't see Goodrow being moved anymore. He is vital to PK and NYR could use that $8M to lock up some RFA's and get another RW.</div></div>
They can probably keep both guys for next year, would be one year less of Trouba lighting up their stars, but they might need to move both the year after if they are adding a right-winger with a significant salary. Extending Lafreniere (if he gets a long-term deal) and Shesterskin alone could take upwards of 8M. The 3.65M available here + the potential 4.3M cap rise should be enough to take care of the other RFAs and have some money left over for a budget winger perhaps. They might still need to add a 3rd pairing guy to replace Trouba or a 7th defender + extra fwd.
They should try getting Lafreniere locked up for 6-6.5M as soon as they can.

It's not luck. Rangers have vastly superior goaltending and special teams. Yes, Carolina controls play at ES, but that alone does not make for a contender.

This is really solid, great roster man. Rangers probably need to add a bit more on the San Jose trade to offload Goodrow's contract and get Bordeleau (I think the Sharks org likes him a lot). Other then that, contract AAVs all look pretty reasonable and moves make a ton of sense. I'm a huge Liljegren fan so I think that move's probable and really good for the Rangers, though he'd probably take 2 years on that deal rather than 4.

Chytil for Game 3
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Stanley_Cup_To_Manhattan</b></div><div>Can't deny the talent and potential of this roster with a clear improvement in the lineup. I understand if Laviolette wants to keep the same lines but Chytil will play eventually and it's at least worth the discussion. Wheeler however is done for the rest of the year most likely.</div></div>
And even if Wheeler could come back, I wouldn't want it, he's so so so so slow. Probably is a great teammate and had a lot of experience but most of the time he stepped on the ice he was a net negative.

Better option would be a RHD.</div></div>
Thanks! I personally don't care about handedness, and what they've done the last two years with the addition of Byram to Dahlin/Power/Sammy it seems the Sabres don't either. Not that there's no merit to having balance, just seems like it doesn't matter to most players at this level

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Stanley_Cup_To_Manhattan</b></div><div>If MTL would offer Hutson, Reinbacher, or Mailloux I think for sure there is a deal to be made there. I just assume they wouldn't deal those guys. I don't mind MTL trying to make a futures offer of Mesar + Beck + 1st or something along those lines. Adding Kyrou to the Habs next year with all the young talent coming up would put them in a good position to pursue the playoffs and get Josh Anderson out of the lineup certainly helps their odds here too lol.</div></div>
Hutson is off the table for sure, Mailloux or Reinbacher might become assets at some point especially if we draft another defensive players this upcoming draft. Kyrou would certainly be a nice addition for the Habs.

Isles
Not terrible from a ranger fans
Like the Wally and Nelson trade, although I'd rather get a prospect vs a 2nd
Palms at 50% imo could get a first he did score 30, Varly declines as well
I wouldn't trade Ilya especially to a division rival, goalies value is hard to gauge too, so some years it'll be a devils fleece and others an islanders, both teams say no imo
Don't know if Pager gets that much even at 50% retained, Ottawa fans say they'll give up a 2nd for him tho but that's probs due to nostalgia
Love Zeeker but no way he returns that
I don't know much about Nils but if the stars are ready to trade him that fast after spending a first on him, than it seems like he isn't that good, but with Pelech decline in play, trading him won't be so bad
Add a pick going back to the islanders for the Pulock trade and they say yes
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Windjammer</b></div><div>Winnipeg says yes. The Islanders and probably Pulock say no.</div></div>
Pulock is from Manitoba so he probs would say yes
